The Sasquatch was sketched out Klear's press operator: John Quirk. Since people seemed to dig the Sasquatch in our inter office banter, so why not bring it to life? After refining John's drawing into vector line art I colored "Sas" in. For this piece I went with an all vector design for a crisp look. Sasquatches are probably pretty big, and this one was no exception; it was designed to fill up a 4'x 8' Sintra sheet, and stand up on its own.
Davy Jones was created for a themed event at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Course. Line art & base color created in Illustrator. Colorizing/texturizing the character was done in Photoshop. The original small sketch (5.5"x 4.25") grew into an imposing figure that filled a 4'x8' sheet. As with other projects of this nature, the initial sketch was scanned, refined, base colored and then shaded/texturized.
Jac Sparrow was also created for a themed event at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Course. Line art & base color created in Illustrator. Colorizing/texturizing the character was done in Photoshop. The original small sketch (5.5"x 4.25") grew into an imposing figure was roughly life size with Jac's shakey sword reaching nearly 8 feet high. As with other projects of this nature, the initial sketch was scanned, refined, base colored and then shaded/texturized.
The Turkey Bowl was a multimedia, cohesive campaign. The client wanted a fun, custom graphic for an experimental marketing campaign that would bring customers into their locations. Customers would "bowl" to earn savings or prizes. The turkey sketch provided by John Quirk, supplemental drawings and vector work done as needed by myself. The graphics created were transferable to all sorts of media to keep a consistent look and feel. The campaign included personalized direct mail, digital/web ads, eMail marketing, signage, and the dimensional Turkey Bowl kit; Custom router-cut Coroplast, with removable vinyl lane graphics.
